'EndWar Online' Launches Tech Assault: Final Clash - Trailer

by Rainier on May 24, 2014 @ 10:00 a.m. PDT

Tom Clancy's EndWar Online is a free-to-play tactical and strategic MMO with next gen browser technology that delivers an unrivaled gameplay experience.

Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online is a tactical and strategic MMO that offers real time battles, HQ and army management, and massive community-based wars, all set in next stage browser technology to deliver an unrivalled gameplay experience.

As the latest game in the Tom Clancy’s EndWar world, Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online puts players in the shoes of the last leader in the aftermath of WW3.  Resources and money have run dry, factions are on the brink of collapse and rogue warlords have taken over.

As one of the last leaders, players are tasked with rebuilding their homeland, reuniting their faction and spearheading the final battle for Earth’s remaining resources.  Players choose a side, the high-tech European Enforcers or Russia’s Spetsnaz who deploy brute force tactics, to lead into battle.

Offering both single player and player vs. player challenges, Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online brings diverse gameplay options and deep strategy to gamers.

Tech Assault: Final Clash will be a short and intense session of pure PvP mayhem. Join and enjoy instant action, test your skills and the game’s endurance during this two-hour event. We will start on May 24, 11 am PDT.

Compared to previous Tech Assaults, this one is all about unrestrained PvP. Just select the Faction you would like to rule and get all eighteen Commanders recruited right away, fully trained and fully equipped to slaughter opponents. You can check out their unique abilities by clicking on the image below.

In the Final Clash there is no need for HQ building, resource gathering and army progression – instead you can jump into a war spree instantly: kill your enemy or die trying!

What’s new? A lot! There are many improvements and changes in the combat system, so even if you played previous Tech Assaults, we promise you will find this one fresh and surprising. We even asked our developers about their favorite strategies in EndWar Online. Watch them revealing the tips and tactics in our SITREP #9.

The main change is the combat system economy:

No more limit to the total count of squads deployed at a time – you can try to “zerg” your enemy if you want!

Command Points work in a different way now, offering more tactical choices:

Used both to deploy units and to use Abilities
Capturing Uplinks gives faster Command Points regeneration
Killing enemies provides instant one-time Command Points rewards

Re-balance of all class behavior based on previous playtests:

Tanks, gunships and AAVs have re-balanced parameters
Turrets are stronger and there are more of them on all maps
Drones are now more balanced
Artillery has normal weak attacks and can be deployed the same way as other units
Air-strike and Air-drop are more expensive to use (2 CPs)
Air-drop doesn’t consume transported Commander’s squads
Air-intercept now works as intended

Revamped Abilities: each Commander now has two unique and iconic Abilities defining his/her role on the battlefield

Numerous changes in combat feedback and special effects that improve accessibility and feasibility of gameplay
