Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare delivers an action experience in a massive 3D world, featuring four-player co-op and 24-player competitive modes. Blast zombies, plants and characters across an animated PvZ landscape.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, powered by the Frostbite3 engine, digs into the trenches to deliver an explosive new action experience. Players will take on the roles of plants and zombies across a mine-blowing world that delivers all the depth of a traditional action game blended with the refreshing humor of Plants vs. Zombies.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare features , three-dimensional worlds, blooming with vibrant colors and unique landscapes. The game has more than 10 maps and three distinct modes including two 12v12 competitive multiplayer modes called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops. In Garden & Graveyards, plants must defend their garden bases from zombies attempting to turn them into spooky graveyards. Players can also square off in Team Vanquish as they try to send the other team to the compost pile. For gamers that just want to have a fun time with their friends, they can work together in Garden Ops battling off waves of zombies on the attack.

Complete with a slew of new Character Variants, the tasty new Taco Bandits game mode, and a bountiful offering of more than 200 customization items and five new spawnable characters, the Legends of the Lawn update will be available free starting September 30.

Players can choose from one of the seven new Character Variants – Golf Star, Centurion, Paleontologist, Chomp Thing, Alien Flower, Jade Cactus or Sanitation Expert – to take into the Legends of the Lawn battle grounds. In addition, the new Taco Bandits game mode recruits the Plants to defend Crazy Dave’s deliciously grilled tacos from the Zombies. Capture all three tacos and return them to the UFO as the Zombies, or protect all three tacos as the Plants to win.

PlayStation players will also get all of the content from Suburbination – the update released in August before the game was available on PlayStation – including the Crash Course map, Suburbination game mode, and Plasma Pea character variant.
