'Hover: Revolt of Gamers' Early Access Update Adds New E-Cop Prison Environment - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Oct. 26, 2015 @ 3:14 p.m. PDT

Hover: Revolt of Gamers is a fast-paced single and multiplayer parkour game set in a futuristic 3D open world.

Halfway between the crazy universe from Jet Set Radio, the interactivity of Mirror's Edge and inspired by movies like the 5th Element or Star Wars ; "Hover: Revolt of Gamers" takes place in another world where you're in charge of a band of Gamers revolting against anti-video-games laws oppressing the city.

You'll have to free the citizen restrained by authorities, localize and then infiltrate anti video games propaganda control centers, retrieve gaming consoles confiscated from the population to overthrow the new Mayor, who is the cause of this mess.

You can join your friends online at any time and progress throughout the adventure in their company, whether you are cooperating or working against them. Participate in races created in real time by the community as well. Wherever you are and what you are doing in the city, running around or in the middle of a mission, it'll be possible to connect to a server, instantly switching to multiplayer.

This update offers new high level challenges in this game inspired by classics like Jet Set Radio and Mirror's Edge. Players are invited to investigate about missing citizens and explore the high-security facility built by the despotic mayor. But beware, no more crazy races or stylish acrobatic tricks here. They will have to be clever and discrete to pass through the security systems. With the Prison, Fusty Game offers the fans a new game mode based on stealth. As a reward, the players will have the opportunity to collect the E-Cop DNA and unlock a playable character.

Trained to to epic pursuits with the Secuboxes, the security drones watching over the city, the players will now have to be careful as the update also introduces a new arrest system. No more gentle temporary paralization, at the third arrest players will now be thrown to jail deep inside the E-Cop Prison. Escape without notice could be tricky!

To prevent constant confinements, the players will have to hack the police network and delete their criminal cases. Many police terminals have been hidden in the city as well as new locaboxes that will now allow them to choose their respawn point.

This update introduces many other improvements for the players to find about by joining Hover on Steam.

Particularly adapted for the Oculus Rift, the game offers an exceptional immersion as well as totally new breathtaking sensations.
