The Swindle is a Steampunk physics-based platformer where players will be charged with infiltrating various facilities and hacking computers to steal money, before making their escape.

The Swindle is a mixture of platform, action and stealth gameplay. Players are charged with breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing their cash and then charging to the exit invariably amid the sound of alarms and breaking glass. All the buildings and levels you’ll be exploring/stealing from are procedurally-generated, so you’ll never get the same level twice. Back at your airship, you can modify your thief with new skills and tools, so you can take on bigger buildings with better security.

Dan Marshall, developer and owner of Size Five Games commented: “Having Curve onboard to take care of the console versions means I can focus all my time on the core gameplay, and squirrel away making The Swindle the very best game it can possibly be. It also means people will be able play the game, no matter what their platform of choice is – I’m very excited about that.”

Curve Digital Managing Director Jason Perkins commented: “The Swindle is the latest in a long line of high quality indie titles from UK developers that Curve are proud to be bringing to console. There’s a huge audience for polished indie games on all the major formats, and The Swindle’s mix of stealth and platforming make it a perfect fit for console gaming.”
