'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' (ALL) Sells 1.5 Million Units, Rolls Out First DLC

by Rainier on March 17, 2015 @ 9:48 a.m. PDT

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will bring all the frenzied battles between Goku and his fiercest enemies, such as Vegeta, Frieza, Cell and much more, with new gameplay design!

Coming along with this amazing feature; a new world setup, a mysterious city and many other amazing features to be announced over the next few months! But a question remains; an unknown fighter appears… Who is he?!

The World Tournament aka the Budokai Tenkaichi is a brand new mode that will be accessible through Toki Toki City and will allow players to take part into a massive frenzied brawl and crown a champion for special rewards! Will the players’ Avatars be strong enough to take down long-running Champions such as Hercule and Tien or fans’ favorite returning characters: Vegito, Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 4 forms?!

Bandai Namco Games announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse, launched in February, has already shipped more than 1,5M units all around the world!

Bandai Namco Games producer Masayuki HIRANO says: “I would like to thank everyone for their support on this new challenge. We decided to take a risk and create a completely new concept to entertain our fans and Dragon Ball lovers and we are quite proud of the successful result! On a more personal note, I feel honoured to create a game around a licence as massive as Dragon Ball! On behalf of Bandai Namco Games: thanks for your amazing support! We will continue working and reaching new heights!”
