by Rainier on March 23, 2015 @ 1:26 p.m. PDT

Journey Home is a new empire-building strategy game where the player is stranded in a fascinating world of islands to be conquered.

Inspired by games like Anno and The Settlers, and with fresh ideas and innovative technologies, Journey Home will be a unique experience with a compelling single-player campaign.

While accompanying Sarah and her family on the search for a way back home, the player leads his people in expanding his community's economy in a journey full of adventures and quests. In addition to the single player mode, objects, etc. can also be exchanged among the players.

"We also like playing strategy games a lot. Two years ago, we realized that there hadn't been anything new for a long time. This is how the idea behind Journey Home came about", says Felix Kollmann, a developer of "Journey Home". The enhancements in the pre-development phase include new ideas and technologies. The result is a complex building and production system in a fantastic world. "Now we need the help of the gaming community in order to make Journey Home a reality."

The Journey Home team has launched an Indiegogo campaign, looking for a total of 150,000 €, the finish up the development of the game.
