Fractured Space is a team-based space combat game where two teams fight epic battles in massive capital ships. Combining the intensity of a shooter with the big picture thinking of a strategy game, Fractured Space offers a new frontier in tactical combat. Players can earn credits to expand and upgrade their fleet, with a wide variety of ships across numerous classes and manufacturers to choose from.

Edge Case Games, formed from the team behind Strike Suit Zero, has committed to an open development ethic in bringing Fractured Space to life for PC, working in step with its growing community by sharing early assets, prototypes and project plans while listening to players every step of the way. Founding community members are already contributing to the game’s development as they play and comment on early builds of Fractured 6Space in private playtests.

Edge Case Games' team-based tactical space combat game Fractured Space marks its six-month anniversary with a big update, going live tonight, that includes two new ships and 11 crew members.

The anniversary update is headlined by the inclusion of the Zarek Carrier and Zarek Infiltrator ships. The Carrier, an entirely new class of ship, can swarm opponents by launching multiple wings of fighters and bombers. The Infiltrator is a stealth attack ship who sneaks up on opponents with its advanced cloaking abilities. The addition of new crew members provides further variety for players to customise their ship’s stats, including flying into battle with YouTube personality “The Mighty Jingles” as Captain.

Fractured Space is currently available for PC on Steam Early Access and is set for a wider free-to-play release in 2015.
