LOOT Interactive Becomes Indie Publisher, Unveils E3 2015 Lineup

by Rainier on May 27, 2015 @ 1:20 p.m. PDT

LOOT Interactive, formerly known as LOOT Entertainment, is proud to reveal its new status as an independent game publisher, as well as to take the wraps off its initial game lineup for the summer: Whispering Willows, Back to Bed and Velocibox.

LOOT Interactive’s E3 presence reflects the company’s mission as a newly independent game publisher – to seek out memorable indie games that set themselves apart with unique, challenging gameplay, and bring them to new audiences on broader platforms, such as  PS4 and Vita.

“This has been a long time coming, but LOOT Interactive is finally ready to declare its independence as an indie game publisher,” said Co-Founder and Managing Director, David Sterling. “We’re ready to kick off E3 with a strong showing of launch games to set the stage for a very aggressive release schedule of fantastic new indie titles through 2015… and beyond!”

LOOT is formally unveiling its next three game titles for PS4, PS3, and Vita, all of which are scheduled for release later this Summer:

  • Whispering Willows – Developed by NightLight Interactive, this beautiful 2D adventure game tells a horror-themed tale from the perspective of a female protagonist with hand-painted artwork and a haunting soundtrack;

  • Back to Bed – Developed by Bedtime Digital Games, this whimsical puzzle game tasks players with guiding a sleepwalker safely home through a surreal dream world inspired by the artwork of M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali and René Magritte;

  • Velocibox – Developed by Shawn Beck Games, this unforgivingly tough endless runner game challenges players to safely guide a speeding box through an increasingly diabolical obstacle course

All three titles will be on display at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles for hands-on press demonstrations at the IndieCade Showcase at E3, South Hall Booth 601.
