Slash and smash through enemies and environments alike in Omega Force's most brutal Warriors title to date, based on the manga and anime series Berserk.

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is based on the world-renowned manga series Berserk by Kentarou Miura, and blends the signature ‘one versus thousands’ style action of the long-running Warriors franchise with the grim and gruesome atmosphere of Berserk.

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk follows the compelling tale of the famed mercenary group The Band of the Hawk, focusing on its diverse cast of characters and their struggles as they fight to achieve their dream of owning a kingdom. Berserk fans and newcomers alike will experience the series’ popular Golden Age story arc, which depicts the meeting between the leader of The Band of the Hawk, Griffith, and the legendary Black Swordsman, Guts, as well as the gripping Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc, in which players will experience the group’s most brutal and devastating battles against humans and demons alike.

With mind-blowingly detailed drawings, visceral themes of human nature, and gripping storytelling, Berserk has fascinated and influenced many fans worldwide, placing it at the pinnacle of the dark fantasy genre.

A lone mercenary and the series’ main protagonist, Guts wields an impressive array of powerful weapons to choose from, and each alters the pace of gameplay. For example, utilizing his massive Dragonslayer Great Sword allows for devastating attacks, and players will subsequently feel the weight of the weapon throughout battle. Similarly, players can enjoy customized playstyles tailored to the other playable characters, like Griffith’s rapid sword attacks and Schierke’s magical powers.

Utilizing a vast array of different weapon styles, players will slash and smash their way through gripping battles in Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. Attacks become more ferocious as a fight rages on, allowing players to smash monsters against walls or slash them in two with a single strike! However, during the course of his adventures Guts encounters creatures known as Apostles – giant demonic monsters that possess deadly attacks. Unlike other enemies, typical battle strategies will not work on these beasts, and players must make swift tactical decisions in order to take them down. These exciting sequences aim to perfectly capture the tense, action-packed style of Berserk.

A set of bonus downloadable content (six stylish costumes) is available to those who pre-order Berserk and the Band of the Hawk from Amazon, Best Buy, EB Games, and GameStop. These include the White Swordsmanand Golden Swordsman costumes for Guts, allowing him to switch out his famous Black Swordsman costume for a fresh look, the Golden Hawk and Black Hawk costumes for Griffith, replacing his bright white outfit for darker shades, and the Pirate and Blue Stripecostumes for Schierke, switching her dark robes for a more cheerful design.
