'ReCore' (ALL) Gets 30 Min Free Trial, Performance Update

by Rainier on Oct. 5, 2016 @ 6:58 a.m. PDT

As one of the last remaining humans, forge friendships with courageous robot companions and lead them on an epic adventure through a mysterious, dynamic world.

As one of the last remaining humans on a planet controlled by robotic foes bent on your destruction, you must forge friendships with a courageous group of robot companions, each with unique abilities and powers. Lead this band of unlikely heroes on an epic adventure through a mysterious, dynamic world.

You can’t save mankind alone.

Starting today, anyone who hasn’t yet had the opportunity to play ReCore can now experience their first 30 minutes of the game in a free trial version on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

Players will meet Joule, her Corebot companion Mack, and begin their adventure in the beautiful and mysterious world of Far Eden. If you decide to buy the full game afterwards, you can pick up right where you left off, as your progress (and Achievements) in the trial will be reflected in the full game.

On October 5th, ReCore will be receiving a significant update for Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Windows 10.

In this update, you will experience decreased loading times, see audio and visual improvements, and notice improvements to issues you may have experienced with waypoints, achievement tracking, collision locations, checkpoints and respawn points.

And for anyone who has experienced a Window 10 issue where the full game of ReCore downloads again during an update, a separate Windows fix is available now. All Windows 10 players are encouraged to download the Windows update (Version 1607) immediately to avoid this issue.

If you aren’t sure what version of Windows 10 you have, follow these 3 simple steps:

  • Hit the Windows Key + R
  • Type Winver in the run command text box and hit OK
  • Look at the dialog screen revealing the OS build and registration info

The version you should see is Version 1607, OS Build 14393.222. If you do not, follow these steps to download the latest version:

  • Open your Settings app
  • Select Windows Update
  • Click “Check for Updates”
  • Install the available Windows Update

We hope these changes make your ReCore experience even more enjoyable. Stay tuned to our social channels and here at ReCoreGame.com to keep up with the latest ReCore news.
