'Moto Racer 4' (ALL) Gets North American Date - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Dec. 19, 2016 @ 4:34 p.m. PST

Moto Racer 4 will deliver the immediate pleasure of an arcade game with ultra-fast races in high-powered cars or spectacular Motocross races.

This new addition to the Moto Racer series will be released for the first time on latest-generation consoles, using the Unreal Engine 4, and will offer a unique graphical style and remain true to the spirit of Moto Racer that has won over so many fans around the world.

In partnership with Paul Cuisset, creator of the saga, Microïds and Artefacts studio actively put the title back on track with a new episode that remains faithful to the essence of the series and everything that made its reputation. Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Moto Racer 4 still equally features Motocross and powerful motorbikes races on asphalt.

Immediately fun but with a real learning curve, customization for both pilots and bikes, possibility of knocking the opponents over or skidding in front of them to obstruct their sight and more important, multiplayer both online and on the same screen, "Moto Racer 4" possess all the assets to honor the first trilogy.

High-speed races on powerful bikes alternate with motocross on more nimble machines for a white-knuckle ride that remains playable despite the need for technical prowess, with rules of fair-play often put to one side.

Moto Racer 4 is set to release for PS4/XOne in North America on January 24th, 2017.

A PC of the game is already currently available in the US through Steam for $29.99.

Moto Racer 4 will include no fewer than 15 single and multiplayer game modes. In addition to regular fixtures such as the Time Trial, Single Race and Championship, here are a few features players can expect:

  • Alternating high-speed road and dirt motocross courses
  • Traffic on the road
  • Split-screen multiplayer mode for offline competition
  • Online multiplayer mode for 2-10 players
  • 60 frames per second frame rate
  • Vehicle and rider customization
  • Possibility of colliding with opponents
  • Each computer rider has a different personality and behavioral traits
