'Panzer Corps: US Corps' Announced - Screens

by Rainier on April 14, 2016 @ 9:36 a.m. PDT

Panzer Corps: US Corps is composed of three different DLCs, each one with its unique theatre of operations and scenarios, but all linked in a colossal branching campaign!

The attack on Pearl Harbor served to unify American public opinion in favor of entering World War II. On December 8 Congress declared war on Japan, consequently Germany and the other Axis Powers promptly declared war on the United States. In Europe, Great Britain is increasingly isolated and the Soviet Union has been driven back, losing millions of men and thousands of tanks in the effort to gain time.

Germany is close to winning the War, and the Wehrmacht is the arbiter in the Old Continent. Only the opening of a new front could give the Allies a chance to reverse the tide!

Panzer Corps is coming back with three different expansions, each one with its unique theatre of operations and scenarios, but all linked in a colossal branching campaign.

Players start in ’42 with brave but inexperienced American “rookies” in the sands of North Africa, and have to lead them on several actions in Morocco and Algeria. They then head eastwards, where they will face the remnants of the Italo-German army in Tunisia in a total of 16 different scenarios.

Scenarios:

  1. Formation
  2. Achnacarry
  3. Casablanca
  4. Oran
  5. Djebel Abiod
  6. Tebourba
  7. Morning Air
  8. Kasserine battle
  9. Spring Wind
  10. Sbiba Pass
  11. El Guettar
  12. Hills
  13. Enfidaville
  14. Mateur
  15. Bizerte
  16. Tunis

By the summer of ’43 the player’s goal is to liberate Sicily and use it as base from where to land on mainland Italy. In another new set of 16 scenarios, the Allies have to overcome the resistance of the fascist army and open the road to Rome, gaining access to the “soft underbelly of Europe”.

In ’44, beginsthe largest amphibious invasion in history, and with it, the Battle of Normandy. The plan is to land on several beaches in northern France, then to push east towards Berlin and finally put an end to the war for a total of 18 original scenarios!

These expansions are now in the beta phase on PC and we invite players to help us test it. For all those who apply for the beta for one of the three DLCs, they will be beta testing all of them.

US Corps ’42 is an expansion for Panzer Corps and it requires Panzer Corps to be played.
