By joining the Shadow Council, available on the Might & Magic Heroes VII website, fans will be able to share their passion and enrich the game formula with their own contributions. Being part of the Shadow Council will allow fans to chat with developers, comment, share, interact and influence the content of the game, each step of the way granting them its own reward. As a remarkable start, fans will be able to vote for 2 of the 6 factions that will be available in the final game.

The story of Might & Magic Heroes VII depicts the civil war that changed the ruling dynasty of the Holy Empire. The Empress’ murder has left an empty throne, a realm in flames and too many hungry rivals intent on claiming it. The Duke Ivan calls together a prestigious council of six trusted advisors in search of a viable path for putting an end to this war of succession.

Might & Magic Heroes VII is about to expand, thanks to a new add-on called Trial by Fire, coming June 2.

“Five years have passed since the battle of Horncrest and the victory of Ivan Griffin, first emperor of the Holy Griffin Empire.

Tension is growing with the neighbouring Dwarven Kingdom of Grimheim and Ivan is ready to go to war to protect his people once again, but he knows a new global conflict could bring the Empire to an end.

Hoping to prevent such tragic escalation, Vilma "Stoneshield" Bjornsdottir, leader of the Sudgerd Dwarves, comes to Ivan's court as an ambassador. Her tale will shed light on some of the darkest chapters of the Dwarves' history and reveal the key to save both their peoples.”

This add-on lets you play two original campaigns that take place five years after the events in Might & Magic Heroes VII, when the Dwarven warbands, one of the most feared fighting forces in the world of Ashan, begin their march on the Holy Griffin Empire. Enjoy improved mechanics and extra content including six additional Skirmish maps and two bonus original Scenario maps written by Terry B. Ray, Heroes IV’s celebrated writer.

Additionally, while Trial by Fire is an add-on, you do not need to own the original game to play it, nor do you need to own Trial by Fire to experience the gameplay updates. Those will be made available to all Might &Magic VII Heroes players in a global update.
