'Rock Band 4' (ALL) Ozzfest Meets Knotfest 2016 Track Pack Next Week

by Rainier on Sept. 19, 2016 @ 10:32 a.m. PDT

Rock Band 4 is the latest installment in the music/rhythm franchise, not only bringing over 2000+ songs from past iterations, but all new tracks, features & modes.

The Ozzfest meets Knotfest 2016 Pack features tracks from Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne and Slipknot, and will be coming to the Rock Band 4 Music Store this Tuesday, September 20th on both Xbox One and PS4.

OZZFEST and KNOTFEST are two of the biggest heavy metal and hard rock festivals in the world. This September 24th and 25th, these two massive shows join forces at San Manuel Amphitheater & Festival Grounds to form OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST – the biggest metal festival ever to take place in North America. To celebrate, Harmonix has created a new DLC bundle featuring hits from some of the show’s biggest acts.

Said Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, "This is going to be one of the most brutal releases Rock Band has ever put out. Get ready to destroy your guitars and drums!"

With awesome guitar solos and unrelenting drums, the title track from Megadeth’s fifteenth studio album, “Dystopia” exemplifies the band’s return to a more aggressive and heavy style of rock. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, and is charting higher around the world than any Megadeth album since Youthanasia in 1992. Megadeth are on tour supporting Dystopia now through October 16 in the US with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Metal Church.

Ozzy Osbourne’s “Road to Nowhere” is the third song off his 1991 quadruple platinum, #7 Billboard Top 200 album, No More Tears, to join the Rock Band DLC Music Library. The single, which was released in 1992 and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, features four great guitar solos and shows off Ozzy’s incredible vocal range. Ozzy is currently touring North America through November 16 with Black Sabbath as part of their final tour ever “The End.”

From Slipknot’s Grammy nominated, #1 Billboard Top 200 album, .5: The Gray Chapter comes “The Devil In I”. Boasting more than 95 million views on YouTube since its release, “The Devil In I” was a monster hit and is sure to challenge even the best of players.

The “Ozzfest meets Knotfest 2016 Pack” is available for $5.49 or each track can be purchased individually for $1.99.
