'Forgotton Anne' (ALL) Announced - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Sept. 23, 2016 @ 9:39 a.m. PDT

Forgotton Anne is a 2D cinematic adventure game combining puzzle platforming with adventure game elements.

You play as Anne, the enforcer who keeps order in the Forgotton Realm, as she sets out to squash a rebellion that might prevent her master, Bonku, and herself from returning to the human world.

Imagine a place where everything that is lost and forgotten goes; old toys, letters, single socks. The Forgotten Realm is a magical world inhabited by Forgotlings, creatures composed of mislaid objects longing to be remembered again.

Key Features:

  • A Seamless 2D Cinematic Experience: Featuring detailed painted environments and traditional 2d animations that will make you feel as if you are in an animated feature. Cutscenes are rendered "ingame" allowing for seamless storytelling, while an orchestral score and fully voiced dialogue completes the illusion.
  • Epic Adventure: As you run, jump and climb your way through the Forgotton Realm, your actions can affect how you experience the story. Featuring Dialogue Options, your encounter with Forgotling creatures can have different outcomes as you uncover the mysteries of the world and your past in this emotional fantasy adventure where things are not always as they appear to be...
  • Use the Arca: As the feared enforcer, Anne, you wield the Arca stone on your hand, enabling you to see and manipulate Anima energy in your surroundings. The power of the Arca lets you distill and instill Anima into creatures and control machinery that runs on Anima. Your actions may decide the fate of many a Forgotling.
