'For Honor' (ALL) Season Four Dated, Adds New Maps, Heroes and Mode, Free Next Weekend

by Rainier on Nov. 2, 2017 @ 9:58 a.m. PDT

For Honor is a fast-paced, competitive experience mixing skill, strategy, and team play with visceral melee combat.

Carve a path of destruction through the battlefield fighting for guts, glory, and survival in For Honor, a new melee action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios.

Enter the chaos of a raging war as a knight, Viking, or samurai, three of the greatest warrior legacies. For Honor is a fast-paced and immersive experience, mixing skill with visceral, never-before-seen melee combat.

The Art of Battle, the game's innovative control system, puts you in total control of your heroes, each with distinct skills and weapons, as you annihilate all soldiers, archers, and opposing heroes who stand in your way on an intense, believable battleground.

For Honor offers an engaging campaign and thrilling multiplayer. Enjoy the full experience with friends online, in split-screen two-player co-op, or solo against AI.

For Honor Season Four, Order & Havoc, will launch simultaneously across all available platforms on November 14.

Order & Havoc will bring ample free new content to For Honor including a brand-new 4v4 Tribute mode, two additional heroes, two extra maps as well as new customization items and gameplay updates. In anticipation of the launch of Season Four, For Honor will offer a free weekend from November 9-12 simultaneously across all available platforms which will include all content up through Season Three.

Free New Tribute mode and Dominion Ranked

Tribute introduces a brand new way to play the game, in which teamwork and communication are more important than ever. In this new objective-based mode players fight for control of three Offerings scattered throughout the map and aim to bring them to their teams’ Shrines and secure victory. Upon the presentation of an Offering, each Shrine grants the entire team a unique buff, forcing players to make strategic choices on where to place their Offerings. In addition to this new mode, For Honor competitive play will continue to expand with the introduction of Ranked Dominion mode later on within the season, allowing players to team up with friends and compete online for glory and in-game rewards.

New Maps and New Heroes

Two new maps, Market Town and The Gauntlet, enter into the fold. With the addition of two new dangerous warriors, each faction now boasts a full roster of six unique heroes:

  • Aramusha (Samurai Hybrid) – Wielding dual katanas, the Aramusha use their blades for both offense and defense. Navigating the battlefield carefully, they are capable of dodging and attacking quickly. The Aramusha capitalize on the mistakes of their opponents and punish them with a never ending flow of fast attacks in every direction.
  • Shaman (Viking Assassin) – Equipped with a hatchet and a dagger, Shamans utilize these two different weapons with quick and deadly precision. They are fierce and aggressive warriors who are strongest when on the offensive. Pouncing on their opponents like wild beasts, Shamans become more deadly as their opponents bleed out onto the battlefield.

As in previous seasons, the new heroes will be immediately available free for season pass holders on November 14, while all other players will be able to unlock them on November 21 for 15,000 Steel. Season Four will also introduce new weapons and customization items for all heroes and multiple gameplay updates. For the full list of addition and updates, please visit the official website.
