'WWE 2K18' (ALL) Comes To Nintendo Switch This Week - Screens & Trailer

WWE 2K18 is the latest installment in the wrestling game franchise.

Be like no one.

These four simple words likely generate several reactions, but for WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, they are a master class in describing his unmatched work ethic, disruptive mindset and definitive WWE career.

Since joining WWE in 2010, Rollins has done things on his own terms. Like many claim but never accomplish, he was destined to be different, blaze his own trail and take no prisoners along the way, even if it meant disrespecting history. The first move on Rollins’ chess board: become the inaugural NXT Champion in 2012 and put everyone on high alert. The second move: make his WWE main roster debut at Survivor Series later that year, align with WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to form The Shield and rally against authority. As the pieces continued moving, the accolades followed: two-time WWE Champion, United States Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and “Mr. Money in the Bank,” to name a few. And now, “The Kingslayer” stands tall after a definitive checkmate: defeating Triple H on WWE’s grandest stage at WrestleMania 33.

For every calculated action and result, there is no question Rollins will prevail by any means necessary, and in doing so, embody everything it means to be like no one.

In celebration of his in-ring accomplishments and bold individuality, 2K  announced Seth Rollins as the cover Superstar for WWE 2K18. In addition, Rollins will personify WWE 2K18’s worldwide marketing campaign – BE LIKE NO ONE – which invites players to explore Rollins’ identity, as well as those of several other WWE Superstars, while learning more about the game.

Like the other available versions of WWE 2K18, it includes a whole host of new features.

Get ready for eight man matches, a new grapple carry system, new weight detection, thousands of new animations and a massive backstage area. A brand-new rendering engine also gives WWE 2K18 a visual overhaul and will bring the drama of WWE to life like never before.

A new MyCareer experience puts you on the path to greatness as you journey along on the road to WrestleMania.  Explore WWE like never before through free-roaming backstage, conversing with WWE Superstars, forming alliances, making enemies, seeking out quests, and strategizing for upcoming matches.

Can your MyPlayer make it to the WWE Hall of Fame?  Introducing the all-new Road to Glory. Compete with opponents online to improve your MyPlayer by earning unlockables, boosts and upgrades all while securing your entry into special events that are held alongside real-life WWE special events, such as pay-per-views.

Customize WWE like never before with an even deeper set of customization tools and the new Custom Match option. The robust Creation Suite also offers even more detailed features for Create-a-Superstar, Create-a-Video and Create-an-Arena.

The Nintendo Switch edition is a robust offering showcasing the following:

  • All of the series’ biggest modes, including MyCAREER, Road to Glory, customizable Universe Mode, Online play, local multiplayer and the dynamic Creation Suite;
  • The biggest roster ever and up to six characters onscreen at once, as well as the ability to play on TV or in handheld mode with up to four people in online and local multiplayer;

And lastly, for those who pre-ordered the physical version of WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Switch, two playable versions of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle: his WWE “American Hero” persona (2001) and his ECW “Wrestling Machine” persona (2006). Digital WWE 2K18 customers will be able to download the Kurt Angle pack at no additional cost through December 13, 2017.
