Omen Of Sorrow is a new fighting game, with a setting and characters inspired by literature, myth and classic horror.

Omen of sorrow is a fantasy fighting game, featuring the monsters of classic horror and giving them a new twist. Delve into its rich mythology, and discover its fast paced combat in classic 2-D style--as you fight for your life against werewolves, vampires and other creatures of lore.

Omen of Sorrow's battle system is designed from the ground up to leverage player skill, rather than stats or random chance, featuring deep combat mechanics that favor movement and spacing over tight execution to provide an engaging experience for pros and newcomers alike!

The developers confided that there is a lot more polish and tuning to be had, even though 6 out of 12 characters from the cast have been revealed, and they’ve already implemented online play using the excellent GGPO networking technology.

Get ready for a wicked battle, during PlayStation Experience 2017,at 10 PM ESTAOne Games will release the first Omen of Sorrow public demo on PlayStation Network, it’ll be available until December 11, showcasing Zafkiel and Gabriel on a new stage with local multiplayer and single player modes.

Felipe Budinich, AOne Games marketing Director, explains: “Omen of Sorrow delivers a deep 2D combat system inspired by the classics, bringing back the edge, mindset and philosophy rooted in the genre's arcade legacy, taking it to the next level with innovative features and fighting mechanics.”

“This is the first time the game will be released onto the wild, outside of the controlled environment of an event. It’s a daunting proposal, but we strongly believe that once players get their hands on the game, they’ll be able to appreciate the effort we’ve put into all the subtle details that can’t be conveyed through gameplay videos such as input handling, and the overall flow of combat.” Says, Max Kubler, AOne Games Executive Producer.

Omen of Sorrow will be released during 2018.
