'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice' (ALL) Unveils Photo Mode - Screens

by Rainier on July 25, 2017 @ 10:19 a.m. PDT

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, based on Celtic myth, is an experience focused on delivering a deep character in a twisted world, with brutal uncompromising combat.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice comes from the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry.

Set in the Viking age, it is the story of Senua, a traumatised Celtic warrior journeying into the Viking underworld of hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover. . Supported by Wellcome and created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will pull players deep into Senua’s mind.

Photo Mode will be available in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice when the game launches on PS4 and PC.

You can easily capture Senua in action and the breathtaking scenery of the Viking wildlands, like the images above which were taken using the in-game Photo Mode. We've included various filters and tools such as camera pan and roll, focal distance, colour grading, and more.

Those pre-purchasing will, at launch, receive an exclusive digital comic short, Hellblade: Senua’s Song. With words by Hellblade creative director Tameem Antoniades and art from multiple Eisner Award nominee Ben Templesmith, the comic comes from a creative collaboration between Ninja Theory and award-winning comic book publisher Valiant Entertainment.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be released on August 8th, 2017 for PS4 and PC for $29.99.
