'Syndrome' (ALL) Gets Console Release Date, VR Compatible - Trailer

You wake up on a spaceship, dazed and confused from the effects of cryosleep, and begin to search for the rest of the crew. Where could they have gone? All too suddenly, you discover that most of them are dead, and those still alive are… changed.

You wake up on a spaceship, dazed and confused from the effects of cryosleep, and begin to search for the rest of the crew. Where could they have gone? All too suddenly, you discover that most of them are dead, and those still alive are… changed.

With Syndrome, Camel 101 takes first person survival horror back to its roots. In the dark confines of the ship, defending yourself is difficult and not always possible. There are a few weapons scattered about, but nowhere near enough ammunition to deal with all the transformed monstrosities.

To survive and uncover the events that took place while you were asleep, you can’t always face your enemies head on; sometimes hiding and breathing as noiselessly as possible is your best course of action. The creatures hunting you are stronger, faster, and utterly deadly. Watch their movements from the shadows, hiding in breathless anticipation for the right moment to strike or sneak away. Every encounter is an internal battle between fight or flight, your dwindling resources a tenuous lifeline to survival.

Careful resource management is a key part of Syndrome, but so is learning your enemies’ behavior. What will attract their attention? What will give you a few precious seconds to pass by undetected? Take note―each misstep could be deadly.

Syndrome places you in a living hell aboard a deserted spaceship, with only stealth and your intuition to guide you as you start to find the bodies of dead crewmen”, said Paulo J. Games, Game Director of Bigmoon Entertainment. "Be warned, as hardcore horror genre fans, we made sure the experience is truly terrifying - especially on VR - so give it a try and see for yourselves, if you dare.”

The game includes an endless VR Survival mode that places players in a horrifying position as they scavenge the ship for weapons and supplies to face waves after waves of enemies set to destroy and dismember anything in their sight. How many days will you survive?

Syndrome is coming to Sony PS4, Xbox One and PC with compatibility for PS VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on October 6, 2017 for 34.99£ / 39.99€ / $39.99.
