'Dominari Tournament' Comes to Steam Early Access Next Week - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on March 1, 2018 @ 5:45 p.m. PST

Dominari Tournament is a fast-paced competitive RTS where you dominate the known universe as you explore, exploit, and expand the worlds around you – and stop your enemy from doing the same.

In Dominari Tournament, your job is to explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate the enemy in a defined sector of the galaxy. Like other similar games such as StarCraft and the Civilization series, you’ll start in one corner of the space map to manage your forces, build your resources, and defend your territory.

Click and drag with the left mouse button, and you’ll send all the fighters to a planet within range; use the right button, and you’ll send half of them. If you have more fighters than the target planet, you’ll conquer the territory and get that planet’s resources ... as long as you control it with superior numbers of fighters.

Add various satellites to your possessions – like the Orbital Defense Station, which lets you see farther out into the system. Manage your economy and expand into the system – constructing Orbital Low-Orbit Construction Facilities to increase the output of planets in range. There are plenty of defensive systems, too – including the Global Phase Array, which will destroy five enemy fighters on their way to take over your planets. Oh, yes – there are enemies … and they want your planets, too.

You’ll also learn how to control a number of top secret weapons, such as: the Quantum Defense Laboratory, which cloaks fighters that fly from it; the EPIM Missile, which destroys enemy planet defenses; and the Stryker Missile, which can target enemy fighters on planets and in space – and it also destroys other missiles.

If you’re new to this type of game, Dominari Tournament is a great place to jump in; the tutorial offers explanation as well as practice gameplay – and it stops holding your hand once the main concepts have been taught. Want to learn from your mistakes? A Replay mode is included, which lets you examine your most recent game in detail – with both sides visible on the map!

The universe requires a true ruler. How will your war end?

Key Features:

  • Battle in fast-paced one-on-one multiplayer wars against enemies online or an intelligent A.I. computer offline.
  • Activate, upgrade, and combine special abilities – from devastating stryker missiles to resource management support upgrades.
  • Execute strategic moves to get the upper hand in battle: Skill is required to win!
  • Explore and expand a massive solar system by acquiring multiple planets.
  • Experience a new and exciting battle every time with randomized symmetric maps, sophisticated AI, and exceedingly high replay value.

Dominari Tournament will be available on Steam Early Access Thursday, March 8 for a discounted price of $9.87, and will return to its original price of $12.99 one week later – on March 15.
