'Project Nimbus' (ALL) Comes To PS4 Next Week - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on April 4, 2018 @ 8:27 a.m. PDT

Project Nimbus is a high speed mech game that takes action in the sky, dodge and intercept incoming missiles, fight armies of hostiles, all while saving the Earth.

Project Nimbus is a very high speed mech action game set in a post apocalyptic world. Players control a humanoid battle suit armed with an arsenal of weapons called “BattleFrame”.

This is a mech game that lets you fly freely in the sky, dodge and intercept incoming missiles with machine guns, fight armies of hostiles with every kind of modern weapon you can imagine, Battle against numerous powerful colossal opponents with the power to annihilate armies, engage with many ace BattleFrame pilots, each has unique fighting styles and stories.

The game is set in the late 21st century; decades after a great war devastated the Earth’s surface, making it unable to support human life. Mankind has escaped to the sky.

The world is divided into 3 factions; each possesses its own orbital elevator that feed energy to keep flying cities afloat.

We found ourselves trapped on our own planet. A handful of gigantic space elevators became our refuge. Great pillars hanging in a delicate balance from the heaven. We reform, rebuild, and re-purpose. We carved nations out of thin air.

Thus arrived; the age of sky. We thrive, even on the planet that no longer welcomes us.

Project Nimbus: Code Mirai is officially launching on PS4 in the US on April 10th, and in Europe on the 11th.

“We always knew Project Nimbus was destined for console, but we couldn’t have anticipated how successful the Japanese launch of Code Mirai would be. We’re so thrilled to be able to bring the first two acts of our chaotic mecha game to the West as the earliest possible opportunity,” said Pawee Pakamekanon, Project Leader at GameCrafterTeam.

“Project Nimbus has always been a flagship title for KISS and it has gone from strength to strength since it originally launched onto Steam Early Access. GameCrafterTeam delivered on all of their promises and the game is truly a prime example of how an Early Access indie game should be launched,” said Darryl Still, Co-Founder and CEO of KISS Publishing Ltd. “Project Nimbus: Code Mirai is our first game to launch on PS4, and we couldn’t have chosen a better game or developer to take this step with.”

The first two acts of Project Nimbus will be available in Project Nimbus: Code Mirai, completely redesigned to take advantage of the power of the PS4.
