In a world where the bones of an ancient beast tower over the land...

The Knight Zephy, a young warrior, is part of a respected group whose role is to hunt and kill witches – a group of people cursed with the affliction of giving birth to dragons. When he is almost killed on one of these hunting missions, two mysterious witches save him from the brink of death by feeding him the blood of a dragon.

Granted new magic abilities thanks to their efforts, he soon finds his fate intertwined with that of the witches and reluctantly joins them to fight against the Empire he once served, vicious dragon hunters, and a witch more powerful than any in existence.

Can they fight against all of this and save themselves, or will his new allies succumb to the dragon’s curse?

3-Tiered Battle System: Players will experience a battlefield that is split into 3 levels: Top, Middle, and Bottom. Players are able to move freely during battle and can position their party members in different formations to achieve additional stat boosts!

Traps: Think two steps ahead of your enemy! Plant traps for added damage in battle to defeat those pesky dragons. Once a trap has been placed, players will need to use a physical attack to knockback the enemy into the trap. The physical attack can push up, down, and back into a trap!

Dragon Awakening: Attacking an enemy during battle accumulates a character's Dragon Gauge! Once the Dragon Gauge is maxed out, then a Dragon Awakening will occur, which transforms a character into a powerful being with added stats to defense and attack. If the Dragon Awakening is ignited when a character's HP is low, it will cause a Rogue Dragon Awakening. In this state, your attack power and escape rate may increase, but your defense will be greatly lowered, so be careful!

Feeding the Little Sisters discusses a game system where players can obtain rare items or rare skills, but at a price! Whenever you return to The Witches' Den base, you are met with the little sisters separate from your party members.

• Each sister has a satisfaction meter, where giving them dragon meat or blood will increase the meter. Feeding the sisters can provide players rare items to use in-game.
• However, feeding them will also cause dragon growth gauge will also begin to fill. Once the dragon growth gauge maxes out, a dragon will burst forth from the sister. Devour their dragon form to get rare skills!
• This system forces players to choose between obtaining great power or the lives of the people you care about. The choice is yours!

Key Features

• 3 Tiers to Fear – In this unique take on the classic turn-based battle system, players take flight and charge at dragons in three vertically-oriented tiers. Strategize how you position your party members as certain dragons have strengths and weaknesses depending on what tier you attack from. Some giant dragons can also swipe through all three tiers, so tread carefully!
• Awaken Your Inner Dragon – When attacking an enemy during battle, players fill up their Dragon Gauge. Once maxed, they can transform and harness the power of dragons, drastically increasing their armor and unlocking abilities!
• Welcome to Devour Hour – Once an enemy dragon is weakened, players can utilize the Devour skill to obtain a skill tree unique to that dragon. With multiple dragons roaming the land, players can explore different dragon skill trees and combinations that can lead you to victory!
• Madness or Riches? – Three witches depend on you to bring them dragon’s blood as food. Starve them, and they go mad. Overfeed them, and they become a dragon! Will you keep them alive or sacrifice them to obtain rare items? The choice is ultimately yours, but each decision you make can change your ending.

Dragon Star Varnir will be available physically and digitally for the PS4 in North America on June 11 and in Europe on June 14!
