Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA offers a next-level tennis gaming experience that captures the energy and action of the global Tours

Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA builds on the success of NACON’s AO2 and Tennis World Tour titles. 

The game includes the biggest tournaments of the official ATP and WTA calendar. The entire Masters 1000, 500 and 250 tournaments, as well as the ATP and WTA Finals and United Cup will be added as early access progresses.

Select your player from the roster of available stars. New official players will be added throughout the early access period, and you will be able to create your own player.

Players with controller in hand can take their style of play to the biggest courts and make it count against the computer or the community in multiplayer mode.


Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA is now available through Steam Early Access at  €29.99 | $29.99 | £29.99..

The early access version includes an initial set of official ATP and WTA tennis players including Belinda Bencic, Taylor Fritz, Marta Kostyuk, Petra Kvitova, Nick Kyrgios, Daniil Medvedev, Alex de Minaur, Andy Murray, Naomi Osaka, Maria Sakkari, Shuai Zhang, Alexander ZverevIt also includes Quick Match mode, allowing for play on all ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 series courts and Basic Tutorials will help players learn and level up their games.

We again thank everyone that has participated in our Tiebreak Early Access, we are thrilled with how the game is shaping up and this is in no small part due to the great feedback we have received from you. Please keep it coming!

For those new to the process, the Tiebreak designers have been engaging with community members and taking player feedback on board daily. Each piece of feedback being invaluable to the development team in refining elements of the game and ensuring Tiebreak is a game that excites every Tennis fan. Over the coming months you will see us continue to iterate on gameplay, fluidity of animations, physics, player likenesses, and some new additions to the game that we haven’t shown off just yet. We’re so excited to tell you about what’s to come!

This brings us to today, where we’d like to announce what you’ll get to see in Tiebreak's next phase of Early Access, which we call Early Access 3 (EA3).

Venue Creator:

You can now create your own customised venues with the addition of the Venue Creator, and also share them with others online!

Design, style, and craft your own Tennis Venue with the Venue Creator. You choose the location, surrounding scenery, stadiums, court logos, and more using the Venue Creator tools – you can now design your dream venue, or recreate beloved all-time favorites.

The Venue Creator allows you to mix and match your venue layout. Design centre court, show courts, outer courts and place up to seven of them around your venue. With a variety of stadiums, grandstands, buildings, and environmental features, you are set to make your mark on the tour.

Online Tournaments:

Dreamed of playing on the centre court and taking the top spot? Now it is your chance to dominate with the addition of Online Tournaments.

Online Tournaments are a new Tiebreak feature added to EA3, allowing you to participate across a whole season of fully licensed ATP/WTA online events and earn ATP & WTA ranking points in PvP matches.

Just like on tour, you must perform consistently across the season to climb the ATP/WTA online leaderboards or defend your spot.

Overall Gameplay:

  • Enhanced Player Fluidity: You can exert more kinetic motion
  • Fine-tuned Net Scramble: Improvements to RT/LT approach to net
  • Adjusted Difficulty of Serve Returns: You must accurately judge the direction of serve (chance of receiving ace increased)
  • Adjustment to Stroke Power Meter UI: The stroke power meter now turns red & shakes when a shot is overpowered

Closing Remarks:

This successfully completes the Early Access feature set outlined in the roadmap for February/March. As we now excitedly take a look towards the next phase of Tiebreak Early Access, we want to assure you, that our goals for community feedback remain unchanged. We are hoping that you will continue to play a key role in EA4 and provide us with feedback on what you’d like to see in the future.
