World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the exciting new expansion to Blizzard's massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It expands the game by tremendous bounds, adding new races, quest, lands, Battlegrounds, professions and items, raising the level cap to 70, and more.

Genre: MMORPG
Publisher: Blizzard
Developer: Blizzard
Release Date: TBA

Chad "Wudi" Crawford: When I heard that there was going to be an expansion to this little sleeper hit, I was pleasantly surprised. Who would've ever thought that a quaint little game like…ok, so World of Warcraft is the mega-hit of the century, boasting an insane amount of subscribers, making an expansion a certainty. And oh what an expansion it will be: two new playable races, a brand new continent, and a higher level cap. When Blizzard designs games, they put their all into it, giving us their best possible product, and I expect that The Burning Crusade will be no different.

Keith Durocher: I'm not particularly iconoclastic in my love of World of Warcraft. At this point, most people's grandparents do Molten Core runs with their Alliance gnomes; it's just that ubiquitous a game. Sadly, I burned out relatively quickly after grinding my lvl 60 warrior through some of the end game. I've since gone back to EverQuest 2, but I have no doubt that I'll sign up to taste of the Burning Crusade fruits the moment it's available. As much as anything else, I'm curious to see how they'll slip a newbie zone into the Eastern Plaguelands. Perhaps there is only one quest for all level one Blood Elves; a 100-man raid to kill a single Frenzied Plaguehound ....

Thomas Leaf: World of Warcraft makes life complicated when you have a full time job and a woman you love. The world's most popular MMORPG is going to get even more popular later this year with its first full expansion. While high level players work their way through the new Ahn-Quiraj dungeons, Blizzard is hard at work finishing up The Burning Crusade where the Horde will get the brand new Blood Elves and the Alliance an as-of-yet undisclosed new race. A new profession of jewel crafting will be available and these jewels can be used in new socketed items to enhance your gear. Not only will there be the new Caverns of Time to explore not only new dungeons and raids, but also different times so not only can you check out new places, but familiar places from the past when times were different and not so simple. If time travel isn't enough then there's the Nether World which is not only a new dungeon, but a totally high level continent to explore and quest. Not to mention to addition of Nether Dragons, epic level flying mounts to explore this new world, but also the level cap has grown from 60 to 70 with additions made to every class's talent tree and skill sets and spells! Just when you thought life at 60 was getting old…

Tim "The Rabbit" Mithee: I can't deny it without lying: I'm a Warcrackhead. It's filled days and nights for nearly a year now, and very rarely do I not want more. The introduction of the first expansion could be a shock to what is slowly – and I mean very slowly! – becoming stale. Blizzard has shown they can introduce capable new content just through patches, so I wonder exactly what they could pour out from a full-fledged expansion.
