Microsoft Announces Stellar Lineup At E3 - Screens

Microsoft highlighted its next wave of highly anticipated titles for the Xbox today to a packed house of journalists and retailers from around the world, as well as cheering game fans, who rattled the rafters in the historic Orpheum Theater. With blockbuster games such as "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic " (LucasArts Entertainment Company), "Brute Force" (Microsoft Game Studios), "NFL Fever 2003" (Microsoft Game Studios), "Unreal Championship" (Infogrames) and "Panzer Dragoon ORTA" (SEGA of America, Inc.), Microsoft previewed its top Xbox games that will be shown at this week’s E3 and available to game fans this holiday season. We added some screens from Kung Fu Chaos, MechAssault and Blinx: The Time Sweeper. Njoy!

Xbox Goes Live

Today at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft Corp. became the first video game company ever to announce a comprehensive online game service fully dedicated to fast-action, always-connected broadband gaming experiences. The online console gaming service, named Xbox Live, launches in North America, Japan and Europe this fall for the Xbox video game system and ramps up with consumer beta programs starting this summer.

'The Sims' Are Coming To The Playstation 2

Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims is in development for the PS2, at the company's Walnut Creek-based Maxis studio in conjunction with Austin-based, Edge of Reality, Ltd. Players will now be able to create and control their Sims like never before with all new level-based game play, two-player mode, and dynamic 3D graphics. The #1 PC game of all time will make its console debut this fall and will be unveiled to industry insiders on May 22nd at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles.
