Players can also choose and customize different characters in the game to best show off their dancing style and karaoke skills. According to a product listing on online rental outlet GameFly, Boogie might make an appearance on the PS2, scheduled for November 2007. Most likely a wrong entry, but interesting nonetheless ...

Study Finds MMO Players Quite Socially Adept

Contrary to popular beliefs that online gamers are asocial, introverted loners, a study by researchers at Nottingham Trent University claims the opposite. 75% of online RPG players make good friends with the people they meet in their virtual worlds, with almost 50% meeting in real-life situations and one in ten going on to develop physical relationships.

Microsoft Debunks DirectX 10 Incompatibility Rumors

A few days ago gossip magazine The Inquirer claimed that it had received information regarding the upcoming DirectX10.1 update not being compatible with current DX10 hardware. Microsoft's DirectX lead program manager Sam Glassenberg debunked that rumor as false, and confirmed that all DirectX10 enabled cards will work fine with the minor DX10.1 update, it may just be that the new features are not incorporated.
