Before Hitler attacked Russia, he unleashed the bestiary of his German blitzkrieg on Allied forces in the Aegean peninsula. This patch fixes minor issues and bugs reported since Patch 1, including the bug in the resupply code that prevented supplies from being transferred from air delivered SEPs to on-map Bases.

Announcing the launch of the official website, CDV USA re-confirms that, after selling the license to 10Tacle, it will still publish Digital Reality's 3D alternate history RTS War Front: Turning Point in North America, scheduled for February 19, 2007. In the coming weeks, the site will being showcasing new videos, screenshots, developer commentary and other assets.

Nintendo Sells 600,000 Wii Units In Eight Days

Nintendo announced that its new Wii console sold through to more than 600,000 consumers in the Americas in just its first 8 days of availability. That's a rate of nearly one per second continuously since its Nov. 19 launch. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess achieved sales of more than 454,000 copies.

'Texas Hold 'em' (X360) Gets Xbox Live Arcade Update

Microsoft is giving its popular Xbox Live Arcade title Texas Hold 'em a full-featured update, with new features and improvements to speed up game-play, eliminate cheating and ensure proper competition. As a result, the online multi-player leaderboards will be reset to eliminate the inflated scores that currently appear. In a future update in early 2007, Xbox Live Vision Camera support will get added as well.

Microsoft Preparing for Xbox 360 Price Drop

In an interview with San Joe Mercury News, Microsoft's president of Entertainment and Devices Robbie Bach said that the company's current primary goal is to "cost reduce the Xbox 360." Since Microsoft has a year's head start over the competition it will be able to drive down the manufacturing curve faster, an advantage over its rivals. Recently UK retail stores have started bundling the Xbox 360 with various top titles, making the console even more appealing.
