Originally released on the PS2 in 2002, Armored Core 3 is getting ported to the PSP, with the addition of a multiplayer mode. The game is based around one entity that ruled the world, The Controller. As time went on several powerful Corporations came on the scene, waging war with eachother in their struggles to gain absolute power. Manipulated by The Controller, all was going according to the plan, but somehow, the forces of chaos began to rise...

Kaos Studios' New Title to be Multiplatform

THQ's Kaos Studios, founded by veterans of the Battlefield 2 mod Desert Combat, has been on a recruiting spree lately as it ramps up development on a new, Unreal Engine 3-powered, multiplatform title. Kaos Studios' first title was the FPS game Frontlines: Fuel of War, originally developed for X360, PC, and PS3, but the latter version was eventually canceled. One of the new job openings requires "experience with creating content for XBL and/or PSN," indicating the new title might be coming to PS3 as well.

'L.A. Noire' (PS3/X360) Still in Development, Hiring

L.A. Noire is an interactive detective story set in the 1947 classic noir period situated in an exact recreation of mid century L.A. drawing players into an open-ended challenge to solve a series of gruesome murders, but also side missions based on real events from that period. We haven't heard anything from L.A. Noire since Sept. 2008 when it was said to be still a year out, but Team Bondi's job listing has openings for several positions (3D modelers, game designers and a senior programmers) indicating it might be ramping up development for the final push (thanks Joystiq).
