One of the most heralded action RPG franchises of all time, Legacy of Ys: Books I & II delivers the first two epic adventures of the famed saga on one cartridge, presented with a series of never-before-seen enhancements. StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game. While Blizzard stated that the 2nd and 3rd episodes in the SC II trilogy are standalone titles, in a recent interview lead designer Dustin Browder referred to them as "the core game" and "the two expansion sets." The games industry has weathered the bad economy for quite a bit now, and while games are still selling well the past few months have shown that developers and publishers a like are bracing for the inevitable impact. A few weeks back Sony announced big layoffs, as did EA, various developers have merged or shut down, and now Microsoft announced that it will be laying off 17% of its workforce, a total of 15,000 employees will get the pink slip in the new year.

Set in a fictional post-apocalyptic Tokyo, survivors attempt to restore the city by defeating demons and solving puzzles. Each player acts as a “Devil Buster.” Success relies on forming an alliance with demons or slaying them.
