Well here is a nice rumor to start off the new year! A forum poster on the Altgn blog was recently taking a Universe at War survey through Microsoft Retail Zone, a website interface to educate employees of electronic retail stores, for the upcoming X360 version. One of the questions about the game's defining features compared it to Blizzard's upcoming StarCraft 2. Is this a mere marketing stunt to appeal to fans of SC2, or might Microsoft be courting Activision/Blizzard for an Xbox 360 version?

'Rock Band' (ALL) Gets Downloadable Songs for New Year

Rock Band allows you to perform famous rock music with your friends as a virtual band using drum, bass/lead guitar and vocals, as well as online. Harmonix has released three new songs for Rock Band, downloadable through Xbox Live (next week on PlayStation Network). Lynyrd Skynyrd's Three Steps, a cover of Black Crowes' Hard to Handle and Rush's Limelight, also covered, for 160 Microsoft Points each.
