While there has no official announcement yet, THQ confirmed that the next title in the Saints Row franchise is in development at Volition. The Saints Row PS3 port has been canceled in favor of a simultaneous release on both platforms of the sequel. The game will utilize Volition’s proprietary open-world engine and deliver an all-new, cross platform gaming experience.

'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' (ALL) Goes Gold

CoD 4: Modern Warfare is a new action-thriller that will arm gamers with the most advanced and powerful arsenal of modern day firepower to fight a new war in the world’s most treacherous hotspots. Infinity Ward community manager FourTwoZero revealed that the game has reached gold status and has been approved by Sony & Microsoft. An official announcement is expected soon.

In PES8, player detail has been taken to incredible levels with full facial animation and high-def to show full movement and subtle details to the various kits during the course of a match. All "next-gen" versions will also benefit from an extensive Edit mode, allowing gamers to customize their PES experience. Konami confirmed the PC edition of the demo is due early next week.
