BioWare Corp. and Epic Games today announced a licensure agreement, whereby BioWare will license Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 for use in an upcoming title. A BioWare development team is already hard at work on the Unreal Engine 3-powered game, an as-yet unannounced title which features BioWare’s third new intellectual property.

BioWare Corp. today revealed the lineup of games to be shown at the BioWare booth during the E3, May 12-14, 2004 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition to the already announced Jade Empire, BioWare will be revealing two new products at E3 2004.

Duties:
Primary Task: Writing dialogue. Scripting dialogue. Must be able to write interesting dialogue in a timely fashion.
Secondary Tasks: Updating documentation that details the level design in the game. Coming up with story and puzzle ideas.

BioWare Corp. today announced that they are working on two new games, both roleplaying games based on two new intellectual properties, created and owned by BioWare. The first of the two un-named titles in production is being developed for the Xbox, the second for the PC.

Microsoft Corp. today announced that BioWare Corp., which specializes in creating computer and console video games, has signed a deal with Microsoft Game Studios to develop an exclusive first-party Xbox game to be published by Microsoft. BioWare is known for its extremely popular "Baldur's Gate " role-playing game (RPG) series, of which more than 4 million copies have been sold worldwide. Currently BioWare, in conjunction with LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC, is developing an RPG for the Xbox video game system titled "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic." BioWare recently released "Neverwinter Nights," which debuted at No. 1 in North America and remained there in its first two weeks at retail.

The Neverwinter Nights '
Contest of Champions' module from BioWare's RPG is now available for download. This module is designed to allow a group of players to jump into combat against each other on up to for 4 different teams. Anything goes within the two different battle arenas. The last team standing at the end of combat wins the round.
