The Legend of Zelda has been one of the most successful and enjoyable series in video game history. Every Zelda title was a top seller, and most every Zelda title was a must-have, and after getting my little hands on the latest title in the franchise, I am a firm believer that Twilight Princess will be no different. Alicia Ashby: It's the new Zelda game. What more needs to be said?
Well, okay, a little. Twilight Princess wowed audience when its trailer debuted at E3 2003, promising a shift away from the bright, cartoony graphics of Wind Waker in favor of a look that seemed downright inspired by Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Fanboys everywhere wept tears of joy as they saw Link returned to his badass adult form from the N64 days, and the promises of horseriding and sword-swinging action in the trailer were simply amazing.

Nintendo announced today that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will not get released later this year as planned but instead the development team decided to take extra time to add some incredible new elements to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As a result, the game will now launch in 2006 globally. Nintendo believes this additional time will result in a much more enjoyable gaming experience.

Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom.
