Without providing any details, Gears of War & Bioshock Infinite producer Rod Fergusson revealed that he is launching a new studio for 2K in the Bay Area (in addition to Visual Concepts & 2K Marin) with an exciting new project in the pipeline, which was confirmed by 2K Games.

Back in Aug. 2007 we reported that the two Irrational Games divisions got renamed into 2K Boston and 2K Australia, ,symbolizing the studios' further integration into the 2K Games family, but two years later 2K Boston is going back to its roots according to GameInformer (and confirmed by the official site). Irrational Games, known for Bioshock but also System Shock 2 and Freedom Force, claims it is "a renewed commitment to the studio's fans."

2K Games is offering a bundle of 20 of its games for $59.99 (and an additional temp. $6 off), an otherwise $229.80 expense. Games included are Sid Meier's Pirates!, Railroad Tycoon 2 and 3, Bioshock, five X-COM titles, Civ. III, Civ. IV (+2 expansions), Civ. IV: Colonization. Freedom Force (+ expansion), Prey, Shattered Union, CivCity: Rome and Sid Meier's Railroads!.
GamersGate has signed 2K Games as the latest publisher to join the ranks of the PC digital download portal, starting with the strategy titles: Sid Meier’s Civilization III: Complete and Shattered Union.
