Eastern and Central European publisher 1C Company officially announced that it has signed an agreement in which it has acquired one of the largest Russian publishing and distribution companies, BUKA.

Meridian4 announced that it has signed an agreement with Buka Entertainment to digitally distribute their catalogue of games, such as Battle Mages, Operation Matriarchy, The Entente: World War I, Midnight Nowhere, The Stalin Subway, Pathologic, Hard Truck Apocalypse, Pacific Storm etc.
Buka announced its Games Convention line-up, where The Hunt, Sledgehammer and The Swarm will make their first appearance. In addition Buka will showcase two games that have advanced greatly since they were presented last year, Collapse and DUSK-12.

CDV USA has signed a co-publishing agreement with Buka Entertainment that will cover multiple titles to be released in the United States, Canada and Mexico for the next five years. The first two titles to be released under this agreement will be Pacific Storm and Hard Truck Apocalypse.

Investment company Finam and EBRD North-West and West Russia Regional Venture fund NORUM made an announcement about having made an investment in the development of Buka company. Investment has been made by entering the nominal capital of the holding, Buka shareholder. Combined investor's share in the holding amounts to 52,9%. Buka financial consultant is Ernst and Young company. Amount of transaction totals to several million dollars.
