Mytheon is an online micro transaction game that uniquely combines the best elements of action, strategy and RPG game-play with an emphasis on collectability and combat, set within a fantasy universe steeped in mythologies from across the globe. Originally scheduled to launch in July, it seems Petroglyph is no longer developer the title, which has moved internally at UTV True Games, with the launch date moved until Q2 2011.

Trion World Network is expanding its portfolio with an innovative project, developed by Petroglyph, a studio by former Westwood founders, known for the Star Wars: Empire At War series. Whether this has anything to do with Petroglyph's previously announced free-to-play MMORTS was not revealed.
Online game publisher True Games Interactive announced that it is partnering with Petroglyph, known for Empire/Universe At War, to develop an upcoming Free-to-Play micro-transaction based online game.
Currently still working on Universe at War for SEGA, Petroglyph Studios, also known for Star Wars Empire, might be jumping on the MMO bandwagon, as its jobs recruitment page has a current listing for an "MMO Game Designer" who is "responsible for understanding, refining, maintaining, and disseminating the game design vision, game design, mission building, gameplay balancing, and game proposal development of a Massive Multiplayer Online Game." SEGA today announced a partnership with developer Petroglyph to create an original RTS franchise for the PC. Most Petroglyph team members are former employees of Westwood Studios, where they worked on the company's titles including Blade Runner, Eye of the Beholder, Dune 2 and the blockbuster EA franchise Command & Conquer. The Las Vegas-based development team is presently completing the much-anticipated Star Wars: Empire at War.
