Good Old Games made an agreement with Rebellion to offer the UK developer's classic titles as digital download, while also adding Ground Control + Dark Conspiracy add-on, Evil Genius, Lords of Magic: Special Edition, Empire Earth: Gold Edition, as well as a weekend long 20% reduction on TopWare Interactive titles.

In a financial statement issued today Elixir revealed a few new project, amongst which Evil GeEnius 2 : "Following the successful release of Evil Genius with Vivendi Universal Games in October, Elixir Studios is currently in full production of its next major title, under contract with a market-leading US publisher. Conceived and signed 18 months ago, the as yet unannounced original game is scheduled for release in 2006. Elixir's other teams are currently working on plans for an Evil Genius sequel as well as a prototype for a next generation console IP."

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that the PC strategy/simulation game Evil Genius has gone gold and will ship to retail stores worldwide on September 28th. A trial version of the game will be released on the Internet on Monday, August 30th. Naturally, we will also have it available on our fileserver network.

Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) announced today that the PC Strategy / Simulation game Evil Genius will be shown behind closed doors at the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, May 14-16. Evil Genius is being developed by London-based Elixir Studios, and is scheduled for a Q3 2004 release.
