THQ has released a new patch for Kuju Entertainment sci-fi shooter Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior. This upgrade brings your retail game to v.F00 (the North American version ships as v.F00). Unfortunatly there are no available details as to what exactly is addresses, but probably to bring non-US versions in synch, as well as adding join/host option to the start menu (thanks 3DGamers). THQ today announced that "Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior" for PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and PC is now available at retail outlets worldwide. The game is based on the world of "Warhammer 40,000" -- the dark, futuristic fantasy wargaming universe traveled by millions worldwide from Games Workshop, the world's largest tabletop wargames company, and incorporates online gaming for multiplayer on PlayStation 2 and PC.
