An arsenal of modern equipment, such as a magnetic grappling device, binoculars, frag grenades, personal lighting device and communications equipment. Lionhead Reducing Its Workforce By 100

Lionhead's community manager Sam van Tilburgh revealed today that at a company meeting Lionhead decided to lay off about 100 people. After somewhat low sales numbers for The Movies, Activision backing out of the console version, Lionhead is scaling back from 3 to 2 developments teams as certain projects wrapped up. While support and a planned expansion pack for the Movies are still in play, the execs decided to get rid of the redundancies, although oddly enough a few days ago the official website mentioned Lionhead was hiring.

Microsoft issued the following statement, "The March 2006 Xbox 360 update will prepare your Xbox 360 console for future system and title updates. 'Black & White 2: God Wars' Revealed?

According to EA Poland Lionhead's Black & White 2 will be getting an addon under the title of God Wars. The premise of the expansion is that the Aztec nations have summoned a new deity and once again you have to prove you are the most powerful god. Apart from new creatures and 4 new miracles, Lionhead is also working on a new A.I. system which will lead units during the battles. In total the addon will sport six new challenges, two new tribes/army's, and plenty more (thanks VE3D). All of this is of course unconfirmed, so digest with caution.
