Wanadoo and Strategy First are delighted to announce their publishing deal, in which the two companies will jointly publish a range of six video games in North America by the end of the year.

After their recent agreement to co-publish the strategy game Celtic Kings in North America, Wanadoo and Strategy First have now extended their partnership in order to open the door for Wanadoo to publish part of its line-up in North America for the first time ever, while simultaneously allowing Strategy First to expand its product line into the console market.

The agreement also enhances the companies’ dual strategy to develop a worldwide net of partners who share their philosophy of delivering the most innovative and alternative games to players worldwide.

Olivier Pierre, the Sales Director of the video games activity in Wanadoo, added: “We are excited that our entrance into the North American arena is alongside Strategy First. Their unique positioning in the marketplace will allow us strengthen our profile and demonstrate that Wanadoo is a major global player”.

Steve Wall, V.P., of Business Development for Strategy First, said: “This relationship represents a major milestone for Strategy First. With our success in the PC market, Strategy First is now ready to expand its operations into next generation consoles. We look forward to building a long-term relationship with Wanadoo and feel that our collaboration will prove to be successful for both companies involved.”

The Wanadoo games to be published by Strategy First and Wanadoo include, amongst others, the simulation game US Open on next generation consoles and PC, the tactical game Robin Hood for the PC and the arcade game Speedball on Gameboy Advance.
