Microsoft Europe today announced it will publish Tecmo's Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly. No further details or release date have been announced yet.

"Project Zero 2 is a hotly-anticipated title from one of the industry's most renowned developers and we're pleased to be bringing it to Xbox gamers" said Stephen McGill, Head of UK Xbox Marketing. "Project Zero 2 joins a strong portfolio of forthcoming Xbox titles such as Halo 2, Fable, and Forza. Tecmo has been a great partner for us and this release is a natural step in the development of our relationship."

Terror returns with Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly on the Xbox video game system, the sequel to the highly popular survival horror title, Project Zero. This time the terrifying journey takes the player to a whole new creepy setting, an abandoned village, where they play the role of Mio Amakura, a young girl who is gifted with a strong sixth sense. The story follows the horrifying journey of Mio and her twin sister, Mayu. The lost village and a strange, symbolic crimson butterfly create the spooky setting for yet another frightening tale in Project Zero 2. The frightening voyage continues as Project Zero 2 makes its way to the Xbox video game system with an additional first person view mode, new costumes, more ghosts, and a new survival mode that will have you trembling for more!
