Atari today announced it has shipped Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics for Game Boy Advance to retail outlets. The # 2 rated show with males 9-14 on Cartoon Network, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the trials of Spirit Detective Yusuke Urameshi as he battles the monsters of the demon world.

"Atari prides itself on delivering only the most exciting and authentic anime experiences, and Tournament Tactics is no different," said Matt Collins, Director of Brand Marketing for Atari's Beverly Studio. "The title combines the most dramatic aspects of the hit series with the tension of 'Tactics'-style gameplay in a way that is sure to give fans everywhere a real thrill."

Developed by Sensory Sweep, Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics combines RPG elements, fighting tactics, and intense battle scenarios that pit Team Urameshi against the foreboding enemies of the demon world. Assuming the role of one of 10 legendary characters, including Yusuke Urameshi, Kuwabara and Kurama, players experience the thrills of the Dark Tournament saga by commanding teams of up to five contenders and executing powerful combos and super moves found in the animated TV series to defeat their enemies.

Rated 'E' for Everyone, Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics is available for Game Boy® Advance at a suggested retail price of $29.95.
