'Two Thrones' Ships To Stores

Publisher Strategy First and developer Paradox Entertainment announced today that the real-time strategy title Two Thrones, has shipped to retail stores nationwide for the PC. Two Thrones has a SRP of $19.99 and has been rated E for everyone.

The latest from the studio that brought us the popular Europa Universalis series, Two Thrones brings gamers back to a time when the nobility and the church hold the ultimate power and Europe is in a state of disarray where great achievements and chivalric deeds are as common as treacherous tragedies and villainous actions. The noble families at the helm of the continent’s two great nations, France and England, are set to engage in an epic war where the ultimate goal is control of the Two Thrones and only economic, military and political power working hand in hand with the church can ensure victory.

“Two Thrones brings all the history of this medieval era - from the Black Plague and the barbarian invasions to the splendor of 14th century Europe - to life on your PC,” said Steve Milburn, Director of Marketing for Strategy First Inc. “Paradox Entertainment has an unparalleled reputation for quality strategy titles and Two Thrones is another outstanding addition to their lineup.”

Two Thrones features include:

  • Choose between several large nations like England, France and Burgundy, or control one of the factions in the War of the Roses.
  • Develop your kingdom into an economic, political and military power, but be careful not to alienate the church, nobility, peasants or the merchant class on your way to supremacy.
  • Survive the treacherous political intrigues of medieval politics.
  • Recruit noble knights with their mighty castles, raise large hosts of spearmen to defend your realms, and ignore the papal ban on crossbows.
  • Rely upon English longbowmen or pay silver to recruit Swiss pikers.
  • Experience detailed historical events, which guide your nation through the dark ages of history towards the renaissance.
  • Play on LAN or the Internet with up to 6 players.
