“Gangland is a one-of-a-kind action game, mixing a classic Mafia setting with intense action-packed car chases, challenging RTS gameplay and an addictive RPG element that lets you live the life of a gangster,” said Fred Heslop, President of Whiptail Interactive.

“The reaction thus far from the gaming community has been incredibly supportive and we can’t wait for gamers to dive into the enormous Gangland world first-hand,” said Christian Majgaard, Co-founder of MediaMobsters.

Born into the Sicilian Mafia, Gangland players must work their way up within the family and compete with other Mafia factions from all over the world for supremacy in Paradise City. Gangland lets players take on the role of one of four brothers: Mario, Angelo, Romano or Sonny as they visit 26 different locations in Paradise City, each featuring 500+ characters with individual behaviors. The game features 26 Conquests and Challenges where players can use 7 different vehicles and more than a dozen weapons to rule the streets. Multiplayer action supports up to 8 players over LAN or Internet.

Gangland fans can now learn more about the game on the publisher supported forum at www.forumplasma.com/gangland. The forum will feature strategy tips, upcoming news and general discussions on the game.
