'Super Collapse! II' (GBA) Announced

by Rainier on March 3, 2004 @ 3:27 p.m. PST

Majesco Sales Inc. today announced plans to publish Super Collapse! II for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. Developed by GameHouse Studios and already a Web-game favorite with over 15 million users, the popular downloadable PC game is one of the most-played puzzle games on the Net and among the most-acclaimed Internet titles in its genre.

"Majesco has continually sought out properties with the potential to succeed on different interactive platforms and with Super Collapse! II, we feel its tremendous online following make it a strong a candidate for cross-over success," said Ken Gold, Vice President of Marketing for Majesco. "We believe that Super Collapse! II's addictive and challenging game play elements will translate perfectly on the Game Boy Advance for the puzzle-playing consumer."

Super Collapse! II challenges players with four exciting modes of play. In Classic and Strategy Mode, players must clear blocks by selecting groups of similarly colored blocks to collapse as blocks continuously appear at the bottom of the board. When the blocks reach the top, the game is over. Relapse Mode is twice the challenge with blocks appearing from the top and bottom of the board. The game is over when blocks from both sides touch. Finally, Puzzle Mode puts gamers' brains to the test as they try and solve a series of elaborate, block-collapsing puzzles.

Super Collapse! II is scheduled to ship for the Game Boy Advance in March . For additional information regarding Majesco's entire lineup of games, please visit the website at www.majescogames.com.
