by Rainier on May 10, 2004 @ 12:42 p.m. PDT

The third installment in the award-winning Battlecry series, Warlords Battlecry III takes players back to Etheria to fight through the ruins, jungles and deserts in search of an unknown threat in the land of Keshan. Featuring five new races; the Swarm, Ssrathi, Plaguelords, Knights and Empire, more than 130 spells within 13 different spheres of magic and a new hero development system, Warlords Battlecry III offers players a completely different gaming experience with each hero combination.

"Warlords Battlecry III is an exceptional title and we are thrilled to announce the gold master," said Trevor Chan, chief executive officer of Enlight. "The game remains true to the original successful formula, while adding a variety of new enhancements and features. We are confident this next installment in the Battlecry series will not only be a hit among its dedicated fan base, but also attract new fans of the RTS genre."

Developed by Infinite Interactive, Warlords Battlecry III includes multiplayer capability, supported by Enlight Interactive's multiplayer matching service. In addition, players will have access to new shops and buildings to purchase special items and troops for battle as well as six different dragons complete with their own unique abilities and weaponry.

"The entire Infinite Interactive team has been extremely pleased with the development of Warlords Battlecry III," said Steve Fawkner, chief executive officer of Infinite Interactive. "With this installment, we took suggestions from our fans, critics and dedicated beta test team members and have implemented some of the most exciting features in the series to date."

Warlords Battlecry III will ship to retail stores next week. For additional information on this title, visit http://www.enlight.com/wbc3
