'Worms Forts Under Siege' (PS2/Xbox/PC) Gets Xbox Live - Screens

Sega Europe today announced that the latest title in Team 17's hugely entertaining Worms franchise, Worms Forts Under Siege, will be playable online on the Xbox through the Xbox Live. Prepare your garrison of worms to join three other machines in four player clashes. Pit fort against fort and worm against worm, with a choice of over 30 different weapons, such as the 50-Stone Canary and Homing Pigeon Launcher. The extensive Xbox Live features include voice support for three players and a multitude of friend and player list options.

Matthew Woodley, European Marketing Director, SEGA Europe Ltd, commented, "Part of what makes Worms the ideal party game has been the addictive multiplayer experience the series has offered. Worms Forts Under Siege on Xbox Live will be no exception to this."

Worms Forts Under Siege is under development for the PlayStation2, the Xbox and the PC. The game scheduled for release on all three formats in Europe in Q4 2004.
