Matrix Games is pleased to announce that it has secured the rights to publish Koios Works' innovative new wargame, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great. Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great is a turn-based, simultaneous-play wargame with a classic feel and a reaction system to allow mid-turn adjustments to strategy. Aside from covering the most famous conqueror in all of history, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great also presents the wargamer with a unique miniatures-oriented feel with graphics of hand-drawn, individually adorned soldiers.

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said "When we started playing Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great, we were impressed by the look and feel and hooked by the gameplay. We knew that wargamers needed to get their hands on this title sooner rather than later and we're delighted to welcome Koios Works to the Matrix Games community."

Kevin Albright, President of Koios Works commented, "After discussions with several publishers, we decided on Matrix Games based on their familiarity with the strategy and wargaming market and their focus on quality gameplay combined with high production values. We've aimed very high with Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great and we plan to hit the mark."

Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great is a visually breath-taking entertainment title placing the player in the role of Alexander the Great during his conquest of the known world. Guide Alexander through his grand campaign from inheriting his father's mantle at the battle of Thebes to his conquest of Darius III and the Persian Empire and last great battle at the Hydaspes. The battlefields of Alexander's campaigns are illustrated in beautiful 3-D views with historically accurate battle scenarios and troop placements. The game also provides a number of cut scenes that provide an entertaining, educational, non-fiction storyline as the campaign unfolds.
