Alien Hominid originated as a Web based flash game, which went on to have over 9 million downloads from its host site Newgrounds.com. The game has built up a huge following globally and the news that ZOO is bringing Alien Hominid to Europe will delight many fans. Behemoth's Alien Hominid will be released in May 2005 for PS2 and Xbox throughout Europe.

Alien Hominid is a fast-paced 2D side scroller where players must run, jump and shoot their way across the globe in pursuit of the alien's coveted UFO. The artwork is completely hand-drawn and hand-animated. The game comes complete with 16 levels, each with mini-bosses and main-bosses.

The player has seven power-up weapons, grenades and many unique moves. Alien Hominid also contains vehicles including cars and trucks, in addition to tanks and other offensive vehicles. You even get to fly your UFO on several occasions!

"As an indie developer, it was important for us to work with a company who understood the alien" said John Baez, one of the co-founders of the Behemoth "Zoo loves the alien, we love Zoo!"
